Terms And Conditions
Thank you for choosing Digital Measuring Solutions.
Our goal is to deliver precise, CAD-ready measurements that reflect actual site conditions on the day we visit. We use industry-leading equipment and follow proven workflows to achieve the best possible accuracy.
Every project is measured with care, professionalism, and an eye for detail.
1. Service Assurance
We warrant that all measurements are taken:
With due care and skill; and
Using professional-grade digital measuring equipment designed for fabrication accuracy.
Our measurements represent site conditions as they exist at the time of capture.
2. What the Assurance Does Not Cover
This assurance does not apply to:
Changes made after measurement — including movement or alteration of walls, floors, cabinetry, or fixtures.
Subsequent or external use of the data — including fabrication, installation, CNC programming, or shop-drawing edits.
Third-party actions or environmental factors outside our control — including misuse, negligence, accident, or natural events.
Indirect or consequential losses — such as re-work, project delays, re-visits, or lost profit.
This assurance is non-transferable and applies only to the original commissioning client.
3. Raising an Issue
If you believe there is an error:
Please notify us in writing within two (2) calendar days of discovery.
We will, at our discretion:
Re-measure the affected area at no cost, or
Refund or credit the fee paid for that specific measuring service.
4. Limitation of Liability
Our total liability — whether in contract, tort, or otherwise —
is limited to the amount paid for the relevant site measuring service.
Digital Measuring Solutions accepts no responsibility for:
Fabrication or installation outcomes, or
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of our data.
All CAD files and drawings supplied must be checked and approved by the client, fabricator, or design party prior to manufacture or construction.
Digital Measuring Solutions holds no design or engineering liability.
5. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with New Zealand law.
Nothing in this agreement limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
